BoxJelly is a coworking space which services monthly memberships, as well as meeting & event space reservations for members and non-members alike.

More than just an office or business center, BoxJelly thrives from the interactions that its members have with one another and the space. The emphasis on community helps to foster a collaborative environment, from which innovation is bred.

Khari Saffo recently graduated from the MFA program at the University of Hawaii where he explored the intersection of art and commerce through his alter ego “Dana Jones”. He is the producer of the web series “Art on the Beat” in collaboration with BoxJelly.

Leo Rogers
Development, Japan
BoxJelly

Leo works as a coordinator in the entertainment industry for Japanese media companies creating content in Hawaii. His bi-lingual, bi-cultural capacity combined with innate charisma makes him the ideal bridge between Japan and Hawaii.

Meredith Mawhar
Manager, Systems & Operations
BoxJelly

Meredith is BoxJelly’s Space Manager and the office’s token Canadian. She oversees the maintenance and operations of the space, maintains the Jelly Vibes among staff and customers, and develops fresh programming ideas with the community in mind. She is a Shidler graduate with a B.B.A in Finance. Her favorite things include her family, wine, Star Trek and camping (probably in that order).

Rechung Fujihira
Co-Founder

Rechung, born and raised in Honolulu, is CEO and co-founder of BoxJelly, Hawaii’s first coworking space. He is responsible for setting the vision and direction of the organization. He holds a bachelors in international trade and finance from Chaminade University. When he’s not busy scheming new projects, he enjoys the company of friends, the ocean, reading and karaoke (he can’t sing very well but it comes from the heart!).

Gobi is usually found hanging out by the front desk. He barks and the sound of airplanes and helps to guard the space from intruders and sometimes friends as well.

Cindy grows the SunFunder community and ensures that every person, business, and organization connected to SunFunder gets the attention they deserve. Before joining SunFunder, Cindy was with Kopernik managing partnerships with Indonesian local NGOs and distributing clean cookstoves and water filters to rural communities. She is interested in all things related to appropriate technology and holds a B.A. in International Relations from New York University.

Nina Faye Blanco is the Founder and Executive Director of Agile Learning Center Oahu, a co-creative space where young people can focus on personal strength-building and collaborative exploration through self-directed learning. Before opening Agile Learning Center Oahu, she was an international flight attendant living in New York City and volunteering at an Agile Learning Center there. She holds a BFA in Interior Architecture and Design from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where she discovered her calling to develop spaces for learning and healing.

Architecture + Photography + Digital Solutions Born and raised in Louisiana and Oklahoma respectively, Rex is a photographer, architect and digital solutions specialist. Rex specializes in 3-Dimensional modeling of architecture for both 3D explorations and digital documentation. He also is an architectural and product/commercial photographer. In the past his travel, landscape and abstract photography has been featured in galleries and restaurants across Oahu. In addition he also integrates and trains individuals and companies in a wide array of digital integration for both business efficiency and lifestyle enhancements. His outside interests include extensive hiking and cycling, slack-key guitar and his dogs Julia and Penny. Rex is a graduate of University of Oklahoma and has resided in Hawaii since 1989.
